GUIT: Win6 General User Interface Training

Description A complete introduction to the FDM Win6 Graphical User Interface (GUI). Topics that will be covered include basic navigation, working with data and views plus an overview of kiosks and workflows. There will be an emphasis on hands-on exercises to quickly build proficiency and shed light on some of the more subtle aspects of working with FDM Win6.
Audience The intended audience is FDM users who need to carry out basic tasks such as navigate records, create, delete and lock records, filter and save views and export data.

Description This is an opportunity for FDM end users to practice navigating the Win6 FDM RMS modules. The course is intensive and fast-paced as it will cover Personnel, Properties, Inspections, Incident and Training modules in a single day. The course will focus is on repeating the practical tasks of finding, creating, updating, deleting and extracting data in each of the modules. It will also cover kiosks and/or built-in workflows.
Audience The intended audience is FDM end users whose work requires them to use all or some of these modules, and who wish to gain experience using the Win6 interface.

Description This is an exciting opportunity to develop a full understanding of what it takes to successfully configure and implement FDM Roster.

The majority of the day combines FDM Roster theory and practical use in a workshop environment that focuses on managing day-to-day Fire and EMS scheduling activities such as filling shifts, managing trades, vacation requests, leave type requests etc.

Participants will work with a copy of a generic database to introduce application functionality and learn how to modify or add to the configuration to reflect specific department processes.

AGIS: Advanced GIS Analyst, Map Tools & Analysis

Description A full day’s course using FDM and map data to spot trends, elicit patterns and explore the relationships in the information stored or displayed. Attendees will use the Hotspot wizard to visually display point data frequency for a number of different scenarios.

Attendees will also use the Response Wizard to calculate What if and Station Zone polygons. These tools enable Public Safety Analysts and Emergency Responders to interpret the data spatially to develop prevention plans, mitigate any harmful conditions and improve emergency preparedness.
Audience The intended audience is existing GISA users with a good working knowledge of FDM RMS.
