Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, constructs and implements test plans, procedures and test cases for products.
• Hosts change management meetings and attends Project Focus Group meetings.
• Devises improvement to current procedures and models of possible future development.
• Defines and reports defects or issues and work with appropriate business units to resolve them.
• Identifies repetitive testing processes and builds automated testing procedures wherever possible.
• Keeps up to date with new industry methods and technologies to streamline quality assurance testing and improve department productivity.
• Verifies defect reports.
• Tests applications in client/server environments, and thoroughly performs testing on all combinations of platforms and databases.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience:

• 3-5 years software quality testing
• Experience with System Development, Life Cycle Methodology, Quality Assurance Processes, Practices, and Tools.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases.
• Thorough understanding of automation and performance testing.
• Project Management:  Facilitation of the project deliverables and communication requirements
• Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills
