FDM training is designed to place power in the hands of the users as soon as possible to facilitate learning and retention. Trainees work on a training database that simulates a live environment as much as possible. Individuals configuring and maintaining the database receive FDM Administrator training immediately after initial installation.
FDM uses a Train-the Trainer (TtT) approach for agency trainers who will roll out modules to their end users. This approach ensures FDM Administrators and Trainers are experts on their system and capable of training new staff after project implementation is complete.
Training is focused on providing users with the skills to easily navigate through their FDM system. It also provides detailed information about the database structure and relationships, configuring the FDM application and the administrative toolset. This toolset manages all changes associated with software releases, upgrades and product enhancements.
FDM training is manual-based to promote user confidence and guide in-depth coverage of all required topics. Clients are encouraged to customize the documentation according to their work environment and requirements, as well as make multiple copies to distribute among end users.
FDM trainers come from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. They bring their passion for customer service and experience in technology-based instruction to their training courses. Instructors also receive extensive training in installing, configuring and troubleshooting FDM systems.
