FDM eBizService

The FDM eBizService is a middle-tier component that manages connections between FDM client workstations and a central FDM database. Client workstations can connect to the database without having to install database software or have a dedicated ODBC connection to the database. End users access the database through the FDM shortcut on their desktop.

Using the FDM eBizService can significantly reduce the IT resources required to set up and maintain the agency’s FDM RMS system. FDMeBiz enables administrators to manage user connections to the database and allows the City’s WAN, wireless and remote users to connect securely over any Internet connection or TCP/IP supported network.
