FDM Software, provider of Records Management and Computer-Aided Dispatch (911) software solutions for the Fire and Emergency Medical Services, was recently awarded the contract to supply and install a Fire and EMS Records Management System augmented by Mobile RMS and business system interfaces for the City of Calgary.
FDM was selected through a competitive RFP process.
A key requirement for the system was the ability to integrate and communicate with various internal and external data sources, acting as a unified resource for the City of Calgary and the Calgary Fire Department.
“The City of Calgary, on behalf of the Calgary Fire Department, was looking for an RMS that would serve as a central data resource and management tool. Their requirements included an intuitive user interface, being able to operate the system via remote login sessions and mobile devices, extensive search and reporting capabilities, as well as complete and fully operational interfaces between the RMS solution and other systems. FDM delivers this functionality in spades,” said Ed Colin, President of FDM Software.
