FDM Software, a market leader in Public Safety enterprise solutions, today announced a formal partnership with OPEN Incorporated, makers of the SafetyPAD® suite of technology products for Emergency Medical Services.
The partnership allows FDM and OPEN to offer the functionality of each other’s systems as an integral part of their respective solutions. The companies plan to co-market and support Records Management Systems (RMS), Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) technology, Mapping and Analysis solutions, and SafetyPAD® Electronic Patient Care (ePCR) solutions throughout North and South America.
“Clients of both our companies have been seeking a solution that provides the best Records Management and Computer-Aided Dispatch systems alongside the best-in-class Electronic Patient Care Reporting platform,” says Ed Colin, President of FDM Software. “OPEN and SafetyPAD each have a stellar reputation for making it easy for agencies to collect, use and share incident and patient EMS data, so the partnership was a natural fit. We’re excited for the benefits in store for first responders. Our partnership makes for a real powerhouse solution!”
The agreement will enable FDM and OPEN to leverage each other’s skills and expertise to better serve emergency service agencies in North America and to expand their operations in international markets. The companies will train to support each other’s systems.
“Partnering with the recognized industry leaders in RMS and CAD platforms made perfect sense for us – and FDM is the standard,” says Michael Vukovich, President of OPEN, Inc. “Our products are complimentary, our corporate philosophies are similar, and we share a deep commitment to supporting emergency service personnel. SafetyPAD has been absolutely focused on finding ways to help first responders concentrate on the patients they serve instead of on the paperwork they have to manage. Together, our technology solutions make a powerful and cost effective infrastructure that enables agencies to do just that.”Media contact:
