FDM’s Asset Management Module is a comprehensive software management system
that models the business processes required to manage department assets. Our AM
Module is an easy to use, fully customizable system that enables departments to
electronically manage assets through their complete lifecycle from purchase
through retirement. Our AM Module puts no constraints on what inventory is
tracked in the system but leaves the decisions up to each department dependent
on their business rules.
You can create manufacturer and product lists, purchase and requisition orders
as well as track asset histories, purchases and internal shipment transfers and
manage asset locations and responsibility assignments. In addition, AM
dynamically tracks inventory stock levels by increasing quantities in stock and
decreasing stock levels when assets are used. FDM works with selected barcode
devices for more efficient inventory control. In addition, incorporated logging
tools enable users to efficiently track assets, service requests and reporting
histories.
Our AM Module is fully integrated with FDM’s Stations, Apparatus and Personnel
tables and the Preventative Maintenance Module for full information flow and
single-point entry of all asset related information.
